My Mommy

2day is an important day for me to remember my mother.. and i just saw “where the wild things are”.. which makes me think of her and us.. So why not post an iphone picture i just took of a portrait my great great uncle painted of her that hangs in my grandmother’s living room in florida & that i sometimes sleep under when i visit.. My mom was an amazing woman and an inspiration to me. She taught me how to survive and smile when the chips are down, how to treat others, how to be proud and yet humble and how to never give up on my dreams. She showed me her love of art and photography, writing, dance, performance and painting.. Mom made me the best meatballs i have ever had.. and for all this & so much more.. i am truly grateful & love you forever..
