Mischa Barton Not long ago.. I was asked to shoot a story with Mischa Barton at the newly renovated Sunset Marquis Hotel in LA… I remember when Mischa was in hair and makeup.. I was scouting the pool area in back when a man said hello to me. It was of all people, Morrisey.. Now i dont normally get star struck at all.. and know not to act it if i do.. but Morissey! So i simply smiled and said a quiet “hello” back.. I ran to the editor of the magazine and told him.. I had so wanted to take his portrait. When i came back out, He was lunching with a friend and i really didn’t want to bother him and disturb his privacy.. Although i did think to myself of that song where he says.. “Shyness is nice but shyness wont get you to doing all the things in life u like to” next time i wont hesitate.. and i am sure there will be a next time.. hopefully he will be there for me to shoot.. Anyway.. that day was a great success and working with Mischa was fun and nice and the pics, i think, may be some of her best… Special thank you to my dear friend and wonderful stylist, Elizabeth Sulcer
